Features and Benefits
- High whiteness for wide color gamut and deep rich colors.
- Higher thickness of PVC Film ensures better stiffness in the high ink density area.
Durability in outdoor conditions
- The durability of the printed image is dependent on the fading characteristics of the inks used.
- We recommend usage of original inks. Please consult the ink manufacturer and printer manufacturer for technical advice on the suitable inks.
- If the printed graphics are likely to be exposed to corrosive liquids, smoke, fumes or a highly polluted atmosphere or if there is a likelihood of scratching or friction while mounting on surfaces or cleaning after mounting, it is strongly recommended that the prints are laminated with a cold, pressure sensitive vinyl lamination film.
Usage Instructions
- Pre test the compatibility of the inks with the media for design application, before commencing actual production.
- We do not recommend using our self-adhesive media with Poly Carbonate sheets as these sheets have tendency of releasing gases resulting in damage to the prints.
- To achieve the best possible print quality, please make sure that the correct ICC profiling, color calibration are used.
- It is recommended to condition the media in the normal printing environment for 24 hours before printing.
- While printing, care must be taken to modify the print file to suit the ink limit of the media.
- Printed media should be thoroughly dried before rolling-up for transport to avoid smearing.
- A fresh pair of cotton gloves should be used while handling the bare media to avoid transfer of sweat, grease and oil on to the media as it could interfere with the print quality.
- Before mounting the prints on to PVC Foam Board or Acrylic sheets, it is recommended to conduct compatibility tests with the substrates in normal use conditions. Substrates must be moisture-free before mounting.
- Ensure that the mounting boards are stored horizontally, prior to use. These boards have a tendency to deform when stored vertically, thereby leading to the formation of bubbles during or after mounting. For more details, please refer to the supplier’s instructions concerning the conditioning of the substrate before use. Be careful to avoid re-absorption of moisture from the air, during and after mounting.
- Wet method to mount prints may cause water/moisture residuals and it will impact the adhesive property. We recommend dry pasting which does not leave any scope for water to remain below the vinyl.
- When not in use, the media should be stored in its original packing.
